Very nice small scale

I already have a digital scale I use for our food but I wanted a second so I could use it for my DIY concoctions. I’m constantly mixing up cleaning supplies, body butters, eye creams and other thing so and I didn’t want to have to worry if I got a little bit of my mixtures on the one I used for food. Lucky for me this scale is exactly what I needed!

Batteries included! Which means you can unbox this and use it immediately.

SIZE: It’s small in size but gets the job done. I believe that the item itself is the same size as the smaller box of tissues.

PACKAGING: Excellent! It came in a cardboard box with cling wrap over the exterior cover, the tray cover, and on the scale itself. The cling wrap on the scale was marred but it didn’t matter because it revealed a clean scratch free surface once removed. The exterior cover on my unit had scratch marks on the side of it, but it won’t affect the performance at all.

FUNCTIONALITY: Excellent again. I actually like the fact this is slightly smaller, because I’m not weighing anything over 1lb / 16oz anyway, and even that is few and far between. I had no problems switching the settings from different measurement types, but I’m going to end up sticking with ounces specifically.

I’m going to put more cling wrap on the scale itself to prevent anything from sticking to the surface. I know it’s probably silly but there were bubbles in it so I’d prefer to have none.

Best thermometer I’ve ever used!

My husband is a horrible sickie, when he’s ill he’s as temperamental as a toddler so having him sit still to take his temperature is a pain. The thermometer we have at home you’ve got to put a sleeve on it, wait sixty seconds and hope it read right and if it didn’t you’ve got to re-take your temperature. I’m confident it wasn’t reading right so I needed a more realistic option.

This item arrived JUST in time. My cousin came to town and brought his 6-month-old baby with him and unfortunately he was running a temperature. He’d finally settled down and stopped screaming and we were walking on eggshells trying not to wake him. It was the dreaded time to take his temperature, so as the baby gently dozed off we were able to do it with just the press of a button. Luckily enough the temperature was very slight so we just continued to monitor him til morning when we could get him to the doc.

This thermometer already comes with batteries, so right off the bat, you won’t have to scramble looking for them when your loved one is ill. I’m the kind of person that would pull out the batteries when the device is not in use, but I found that I accidentally press the ear button consistently when trying to get the case off so I said forget it.

The carrying case is okay, but I'm not fond of it so I personally will not be using it.

This is a no-fuss thermometer that every household should have. With a 60 day guarantee and it only taking a single second to read the temperature of your loved one I strongly encourage you to buy this item.

ZEEFO 2 Pack LED Rechargeable Motion Sensor Lights

NOTE: You need a microUSB charging cable. One was NOT included with my package, but luckily enough for me, I already have multiples at home.

This is going to be so useful in a variety of different purposes. You can stick it in a closet that doesn’t already have a light in it, in a bathroom as a low-level light, closet, on the staircase, in the kitchen near the fridge… I’m sure there are more uses but I can’t think of any at the moment.

I’m using one of them currently on our stairs, I’m debating on using the second on it as well. Our master bedroom is right next to the stairs and when the light is turned on it shines very brightly into the bedroom. This device will allow someone to go up or down the stairs and be aware of anything that is possibly on the stairs waiting to be stepped on, in my case, it’s normally the dog’s chew bones or stuffies.

Charging is a breeze, just hook it up to a MicroUSB and leave it. The light will turn green when it’s ready to be put back into place. I love that this package comes with two of these because it allows me to charge one and keep using the other if I forget to do this til the last minute… which is often.

The light itself is surprisingly bright considering how small this guy is. It gave me a nice lighting in our large master bedroom closet. It completely lit up the hallway bathroom (think an apartment bathroom with shower/tub, toilet, and sink.)

There are multiple settings, which are nice. If you needed to you could use this an emergency light or if you have a power outage you could at least see around the house by leaving it in the on position, motion sensor is auto, then off.

SpaceSaver Variety Pack Premium Vacuum Storage Bags

RECOMMENDED INFORMATION:
You really do need a vacuum cleaner to use this product. If you don't own a vacuum or yours is broken, borrow the neighbors for a few minutes, even better take this to their house to show off your new vacuum storage bags. Although it is possible to use it with the hand pump, it will take what will feel like forever. The good thing about the hand pump is that it is easy to use, even older individuals or those with arthritis will have no problem using it.

I strongly recommend making sure you get a good seal on it before you start to vacuum the air out, as well as when you're done with it make sure you can no longer turn the cap. If you can still turn it, you will get air back into your bag which will defeat the point. Don’t make my mistakes!

REVIEW:
My husband makes fun of me for loving these bags, he considers them gimmicky. I, on the other hand, am just thrilled with these.

I love that I can put away my summer / winter clothes and vacuum seal them up ensuring that no bugs can get into them and that any odors don’t permeate the clothing.

You can also use it for off-season bedding, or extra pillows and towels you can’t convince yourself to donate to the local animal shelter JUST yet because you might need them for a variety of purposes.

Whatever items you’re putting in there, you can put in some dried lavender or mint into a sachet before sucking out all the air and your items will smell amazing by the time you’re ready to pull them back out of the bag, just take into consideration how large the bag is as far as how much dried herbs you want to put in, a dryer sheet would work right in the middle of everything.

We have a bag dedicated to our guest room including fresh sheets, pillows, and a bed spread. It’s all sealed waiting for our next set of guests to arrive, we leave it in the guest room closet for obvious reasons. You’ll find the sheets to be wrinkled, but that’s not a big deal, you know they are clean already so just pop them into the dryer to get the wrinkles out before putting them on the bed.

It doesn’t matter if you have a large or small home. I recommend this to EVERYONE.

CHGeek Smart Dual USB Wall Charger

We constantly have guests coming in and out of the house. With our culture being so cell phone oriented everyone’s always looking for a charging spot. With this very nice wall charger two individuals can charge their phone, or other devices at a time.

I love having this in my kitchen. I consistently use it for my iPhone as well as my microUSB devices (Bluetooth speaker and Kindle) and I don’t have to hunt for any additional USB wall sockets or try to find an outlet that’s not in use.

Possible Improvement: I will say that I really wish that the prongs could fold down for easy travel. While I don’t travel often, I would take this with me for overnight trips or extended stays if the prongs folded. As is I have to find a way to pack it so nothing in my bag gets stabbed on accident damaging this item or something else.

Slight dislike: I wish the disclaimer wasn’t on the top of the device. This sleek black device is so easy and nice to look at, I’m not sure why they would add white text on the top when the bottom is empty of information and isn’t something you’d typically see.

Update 10/3/16: The Smart Charge function isn't working for me. I plugged in my iPhone and when it got to 100% it continued to have the charging icon. The seller suggested that while the phone is still plugged into the charger that as it uses power (lets say if I go to text someone) then it will need to power again to get back to 100%. I was disappointed that it's not working to my expectations, but it's still a good product. I'll stick with my original Four Star review.

iMixx Watermelon Slicer, Slicer Knife, and Baller

This is a sharp server set, pun intended. We have guests over as often as possible and we can use this for a variety of different uses. The melon slicer is wonderful when doing potlucks, barbeques, or just for your family for a snack/dessert. I use the melon baller for the same but I also use in liquor beverages to give a touch of flavor and color. I’m fairly accident prone, so I haven’t used the sharper edge, the slicer, to shape any fruits.

The watermelon slicer is sharp enough to get the job done very easily. It’s made with a higher grade of stainless steel to resist rust, which is really important for melon slicers. When I cut too far from the rind I didn’t worry about it, I used the baller part to get what I could apart from the rind. Watermelon is good for dogs too so I shared our seedless melon with the pup and she loved it. No, in case you’re wondering, I didn’t give her any rind. After use, I make sure to gently wash with sponge and a drop of soap, rinse and air dry immediately after. I believe it's supposed to be dishwasher safe, but it's just quicker to hand wash.

The melon baller is adorable. It was a huge hit at my family’s lunch today. The fruit weren’t perfectly shaped but it did do a great job anyway and was super easy to use. I think I just need more practice on the shaping of the fruit. I’ve also used this to cut somewhat thin strips for drinks to add into iced tea or mixed drinks (liquor.)

Kakanuo Magnetic Dash Mount Cell Phone Holder

When this item arrived I was worried a bit about the item's small size, but I'm so very happy I tried it out anyway because it's amazing!

First off in the set you get the following items:

(1) Car Bracket
(1) Car Plate
(3) Cited Disk
(2) Alcohol Pads
(2) Extra stickers for the car bracket
(1) Manual

The car plate is surprisingly strong when it attaches to the car bracket. I automatically just stuck the pieces together and actually had to work at getting them apart, it wasn't just an easy pull off, which left me feeling more secure with my phone.

I don’t like windshield mounts, I feel like they take up too much space on the windshield and they fall off in high heat, I’d much rather have something mounted to the dash. Where my other mount couldn’t stick to my dash the Kakauno Dash Mount could! The double sided tape is very strong and I haven’t had any issues losing stickiness. Even if you did for some odd reason there are extra 3M sticky pads included.

I really appreciated that the set came with three cited disks, two large and one smaller one. My husband commonly drives my car to work so we can each use this by just sticking this onto our cases. The rose gold iPhone and clear case don’t really go well with the color, but utility is something I’m willing to sacrifice for. I doubt that we’ll need to use the smaller disc for anything though, although having a spare is nice.

This lil guy takes nothing to set up and use. Clean your dash and mount it using pressure to help it adhere to the dash. Wait 24 hours (recommended) and then use! I love that you don’t have to click release the phone when you just need to grab it for a second, or have half the mount click on and unknowingly have it insecure with your phone falling out of its mount at a later time. It’s also super convenient to tilt at different angles as needed, or plug in your lightening charger. Another benefit is that the bracket is so small that it takes up almost no footprint, so you can put it on smaller smooth surfaces with no problem..

Kollea iPhone 7 Tempered Glass Screen Protector (2 pk)

I’m going to start off with my only con on this item, and it’s the packaging. The package itself does not specify what size product was sent to me, so if an iPhone 7 screen protector was sent I wouldn’t know until the point where I went to apply it to my phone. This was an issue for me because I ordered different phones and screen protectors, and with the front being so basic it was hard to tell which was which.

I loved that two of the screen protectors came in the package. The price is better than others I’ve seen for tempered glass screen protectors come in just one per package and being sold at similar or higher prices.

The actual package itself is very durable and strong. I just wish it specified, as I mentioned above, which screen protector was inside. Obviously, I should get what I ordered, but sometimes mixups happen and I don’t want to go to apply and realize I’ve got the wrong one leaving my device vulnerable.

Two complete sets of everything, which I love! If I’m ordering and intending on using one myself and one for a roommate or family member, I really appreciate that I don’t have to worry about holding onto certain items or doing the screen protectors at the same time. This way I can put mine on right away, and leave the package for the other individual to apply when they are ready. Or just save it for yourself as a backup in case you ever scratch the screen.

Overall I recommend this item. While it’s not the least expensive duo I’ve seen it’s a fair price for protection for your phone’s display. Tempered glass screen protectors are the way to go in my personal experience. I’ve dropped my iPhone onto a very hard surface and I’m positive that if I hadn’t had one on there that the display would have completely shattered.

OULUOQI iPhone 7 Plus Screen Protector (2 Pack)

Tempered Glass screen protectors cannot be beat. I had one on my old phone, when I dropped it onto a hard surface I was ecstatic to find that my screen protector saved my phone. I’m 100% positive that if I had one of those older style skin screens that the display on my old iPhone 6 would have shattered immediately.

I love the OULUOQI brand in general, they always have the best products!

Product packaging is excellent, this brand clearly cares about their customers. The cardboard case was very thick and the screen protectors were very well protected! The tape you peel off on the side even says glass to remind you what you are dealing with to make sure you’re careful with the package.

There are TWO cases for the price of one. If you look at other brands while you can get cases relatively inexpensive they are normally about $8 per screen protector and you get 2 for the bargain price of $4.99 (at the time of my review) so you’re paying just over half the price for double the product! I also loved that the seller took the time to have the items packaged separately, so if you’re buying a box to share with someone else that you didn’t have to worry about keeping the accessories clean or doing both the screen protectors at once.

The tempered glass screen protector itself is thick enough to be sturdy but not so thick that it will deter anything you are trying to do on your phone. It will easily take the beating of any scratches and leave your phone safe. If the scratches are too bad, or just annoying, luckily enough you have a second screen protector in the case to use as needed. It’s also very clear so you’ll still be able to clearly see through to your phone, almost like the screen protector isn’t even there.

Installation is incredibly easy, anyone can do it, even me!

Sunnyhu Women's Kimono Robe

Body Stats: 5’3” – 195lbs – 44DDD. I ordered the XL as I normally wear a 14/16.

MATERIAL: The material is actually a poly stain fabric, but it glides on your skin leading you to believe you’re actually wearing silk. I thought I was going to feel like a Queen when I put it on, but it didn’t fit my pear shaped body at all. This item is beautiful to the point that I was very saddened that I can’t wear it and feel as beautiful with it on as it is in the package.

FIT: The waist straps were only an inch below my ample chest, making it look like I was trying to further enhance them. I hated the pockets, they reminded me of pleated slacks and made my large midsection seem even larger. It also didn’t close well over my hips and tummy, resulting in a slight gap that felt completely unflattering.

COLOR: I’m normally excessively conservative but for once I decided to branch out and I ordered the fuschia color, it seemed more like a beautiful hot pink to me. The material was a touch sheer, so you could see the dark bra and pantie set I was wearing underneath, I would have preferred a full solid color with no sheer to it.

While I think this product could be amazing for someone, it just wasn’t for me. I think that you need to take into consideration your body shape before ordering. If I had an hourglass figure, rectangle, or inverted triangle I would have looked and felt amazing.

DUMVOIN Quick Charge 2.0 Certified 5-port USB wall charger with Type-C Adapter

Everything nowadays has a USB port and my desk is overrun with chargers for my iPhone/iPad, Apple Watch, USB fan, USB backup battery, (2) Kindles, Bluetooth headphones, and more things I can’t think about at the moment. There aren’t enough spots on my actual surge protector to power all of these devices until this 5 port USB charger came into our lives. It’s SUCH a huge benefit being able to charge all my stuff and not having to wait for one to finish so I can swap out the cords. I can’t believe I’ve been swapping out plugs and having multiple plugs on our power strip.

This item is small enough that I can easily put some double sided sticky tape on it and leave it on the bottom of my desk, freeing up much needed retail space on my desk. All I have now are cords for each device in little cable clips*. In the unlikely event that I need to unplug one of them and plug something else in, it’s a snap because I put it in an easy to reach spot. You may not even feel the need to do that, the top of it is very pleasing to the eye, although I’m not fond of the look of the bottom myself.

I really appreciated the long charging cable on this device. Even more so they included a Velcro band so you can shorten it if you need to. No more having to hunt for my Velcro Self-Gripping Cable Ties.

I cannot say anything about the Quick Charge 2.0 or Type-C as I don’t own any devices capable of using them.

*NOTE: I do not own the particular brand of cable clips I linked, I just noticed this had double cord spots and has high ratings.

Whisk & Ladle - 21 Day Portion Control Diet Container Set

One of my girlfriends is into Beachbody and I saw the portion control containers at her house. She mentioned that she’s lost weight, and felt better, by realizing that portion control is the key to both weight loss and just overall improved health. I saw how much it benefitted her, so I immediately wanted a set for myself… but at the price they want for it was crazy!

I ho’d and hum’d for a while, wanting to place the order but being on a budget cost me to rethink my determination until I came across the Whisk & Ladle 21 day portion control diet containers. It’s the exact same thing at a fraction of the price! I had to get it immediately.

I love that the company included a pamphlet! It shows you how to calculate your calorie level based on your activity level. Now you can find this just about anywhere online, but having it at your fingertips in the kitchen is very nice. Once you find your goal level you can see how many of each box you should be having daily, so lets say if I want to reduce my calories and go to the second tier then the recommended servings daily are 4 veggies, 3 fruit, 4 protein, 3 carbs, 1 fats, 1 seeds & dressings although I have to say I’m not sure what the fork and spoon are…

You don’t have to use this only for portion control. Once you get the hang of it and can do it without the boxes you can easily use this for for your children or spouse. Its also easy to share these if you make dinner together!

SoundPEATS Q22 Bluetooth In-Ear Wireless Earbuds

I will admit it took me several tries to get accustomed to the ear hooks, but once I got used to it I fell in love.

I guess I have oddly shaped ears, for some reason no matter what earbuds I buy I’ve never been able to get a good fit until I found SoundPEATS (I’ve tried Beats, Bose, and different stuff from local electronic stores.) I use the medium earbud in one ear and a small in the other but both ears I use the medium sized ear hooks. These keep my earbuds firmly in place without me having to worry about it jostling and immediately falling out. Technically with interchangeable earpieces, you could share this device with your loved one, but you won’t want to and might go to great lengths to keep it all for yourself.

The sound quality is VERY RICH, I found that I have to turn down my phone’s volume quite often, in comparison to the volume I’d have just using the phone’s normal speaker when pairing to this device just because it’s that good. I typically listen to Top 40s, hip-hop, trap and I’ve had no problems with performance.

I typically use it when walking the dog, weed eating the yard, cleaning around the house, at the grocery store, when the hubby is sleeping and I’m trying to be nice even though he sleeps through almost anything, at the computer, and sometimes even at work (shh don’t tell!) I will have to test out how well these will work when I’m mowing since our gas mower is extremely loud, I’m not sure if it will drown out any sound or if the music would be overpowered.

I love that I can pair this headset with multiple devices. I currently have it paired with my computer as well as my iPhone.

Comfort is a huge thing for me, especially since I have a small ear canal on one side and a medium on the other (or at least that’s the size earbuds I used.) I have to say I can keep these earbuds in for hours and forget I’m using them. If for some reason I’m not using them the magnetic feature is amazing that I can sling them around my neck and have them lock onto one another. No more worrying about where I should put them or the possibility of accidentally losing them, now I just have to worry about a family member wanting to steal them from me!

I did have difficulty in changing out the earbuds themselves, from the medium to the small. Honestly, I’m the kind of person that has issues with everything, I have to own up to that. I have a screw on dog food toy I use for my puppy daily and I have issues getting it on the right track every time so it may be just a me thing more than a Q22 thing.

GooQee Automatic Touchless Soap Dispenser

I have to lead with the drawbacks with this item…

- It dispenses about five times more soap than I needed, thus money going down the drain in the form of soap.
- The soap dispenser portion is not adjustable, I would have given this a GLOWING five-star review if it was!
- The oil on my skin laughed at the concept of the fingerprint resistance.
- A drop of soap my linger on the dispenser spot.


The good…

+ This item does its job and dispense soap well.
+ The chime is cute… at least the first couple of times it is, but luckily enough you can disable it.
+ The item is transportable if in the event you want to take it from the kitchen to the bathroom for any reason.
+ The construction is durable and well thought out.
+ I loved that I could see how much soap was in the dispenser at all times! That takes the guess work out and makes life easier.
+ The spot you put the soap in is wide enough to stick the head of my Costco sized Dawn into so I don’t miss and spill.

For me personally I don’t like to overuse soap, or waste money, so I will end up emptying the chamber of the soap that’s in it… or have it dispense back into the original chamber and see if I can find a better home for it.

OULUOQI Milanese Loop Apple Watch Band

This band looks so very similar to it’s Apple counterpart that I couldn’t tell the difference if you put them side by side.

I’m writing this review on September 15, 2016, and currently, the Apple version is being sold for $149. The OULUOQI is selling for $9.99. This is six percent of the brand name’s cost.

So this version is less expensive, you may wonder if you’re sacrificing anything for the less pricey version. The answer is no. This band is super sleek, it’s so very easily adjustable. I’ve had zero problems with any of the coloring rubbing off, but even if it did, per OULUOQI has an exceptional 18-month warranty from the date of purchase! Apple only offers you their basic 30-day return policy.

Another thing I love about this is that you can share with a loved one. I may purchase multiple colors of the 42mm loop. If I’m feeling rose gold today, then my husband can use the black. Or if I want black then he can use the silver. While I know he’s not going to be wearing the rose gold band anytime soon, it will be fun to mix and match depending on the mood.

There is no reason not to purchase this loop. The only problem I could see is if you have an exceptionally thick wrist and the loop doesn’t fit all the way around it. For everyone else, I know you’ll love this product if you give it a try.

9/17/16 Update: I've gone back to my OULUOQI® Apple Watch 42mm Black Sport Band. While I still love the flexibility that the Milanese loop offers I've managed to catch my hair in it, OUCH!, and also to pull a thread from my hand towel.

eBoot Acrylic Make up Brush Storage Organizer

NOTE: You need a screwdriver to put this together.

While this Make-Up brush organizer is best suited for the Oval style of brushes, don’t think that you can’t use it with the other brushes you have at home. Depending on the thickness of the handle your standard brush will fit in as well, as shown in the video, but something with a point at the end of the handle will fit best. I currently have a Morphe powder brush, Eco Tools Foundation brush, as well as an Artis Oval 6 that all fit well in the organizer.

The acrylic stand is very nice, durable, and well constructed. It was excellently packaged and there are no blemishes on it, which was very important to me considering it is a clear item, scratches will stand out if there were any on there.

Construction was super easy, but you will need a screwdriver. I got MOST of it done without one, but you’re going to need one to tighten those screws to ensure that your brushes don’t fall out of place.

The item is longer than I expected, I think it’s just over twelve inches long, but it still fit nicely against the back of my bathroom vanity.

Zakix Lightning to USB Cables (3 pk)

It is so very unfortunate that the seller is being penalized for someone scamming and selling counterfeit Zakix cables. Both the seller and the reviewers are being penalized by not realizing the product that’s being sold is such a great item.

Right off the bat, I loved the set I received. The set is provided to you in a ziplock like container that will keep your items safe from water damage in the unlikely event your package happened to get wet. The package also has the extra benefit that it holds any ‘extra’ cables you don’t need at that exact moment.

Immediately after I pulled the cables out of the package I set it to charge my iPhone 6 and it worked, which is what you would expect, right?

Multiple other reviewers specified that their products would get disconnected at the Lightning section that plugs into your Apple product. While mine unplugged with no problem, I actually TRIED (I know this is silly, but I wanted to test out the same problem that others purchasers experienced) to pull off the plug section and wasn’t able to do it. Yay!

For now,​ I have the backup set, the two extra’s that I didn’t need right away, in my backpack or purse, depending on where I’m going. If I leave the house without thinking to grab a cord, luckily enough I’ll always have a spare with me.

The set for us is excellent, I say this because my husband is really rough on cords, he always managed to break them at the exact same spots. So even though there are two ‘back-ups’ right now, I’m happy knowing I have a back-up and a spare for when he breaks his next one.

S-kumquat Slim Credit Card Holder

I ordered the Rose Red, and was kinda iffy on it at first, but the beautiful color has grown on me. I love how compact this case is, I can easily fit it in any of my handbags, backpacks, briefcase or even my pocket if I want to.

The larger sections on either side are excellent for multiple items like small amounts of change, cash, or keeping your medical/dental/pharmacy cards all together. This card holder has more spaces for cards than I actually have, which is great because I’m sure with time more companies will want you to use them.

The stitching on this wallet is excellent, no frays or poor stitching. I also liked that they used a slightly different color than the rose read on the zippered section, it gives it a nice contrast.

The leather is a very nice durable one, it’s thick too!

I’m thinking about ordering two more, one of the pink and another in the black. Accessorizing the wallets with my purses!

Fugetek FT-38L - Solar Motion Sensor Light

This is the brightest solar lights I’ve ever seen, and it’s got an EXCELLENT price point. After the initial investment of $25.99 (at the time of this review) you’ll get the opportunity to light up the exterior of your home with no additional investment because sunlight is free!

I haven’t hung this up yet because I need a ladder for where I want to place it, and I don’t own one, so I can’t say too much on the ease of installation. It looks very easy: Install the two screw holes and hang it up.

This is weatherproof, meaning rain or the wind aren’t going to do any harm to your new motion sensor light.

Great options as far as settings. You can leave it on as a low light + motion, motion triggered only, a continuous light that will stay active for five hours.

I’m seriously considering purchasing two more. One for the front door and another for the back, as is we have the dusk til dawn lights, that auto activate when it senses the dark. This light will outshine it every time, and I won’t have to use electricity. I am curious how it would react with being under a patio though.

Update 9/3/16: Added more pictures. One of them is almost from the back fence, which is about 6 posts away, this guy is THAT bright.

Update 10/3/16: Finally got it mounted, it's 17 panels up on the house. It lights up almost our entire back yard and that's a good amount of space. I can see the puppy, somehow Kayla managed to get in the panoramic shot twice, just about anywhere she goes in the yard now.
